In the three volumes that make up his autobiography, La Gloire de mon p\u00e8re, Le Ch\u00e2teau de ma m\u00e8re, Le Temps des secrets, Marcel Pagnol recounts his childhood and adolescence in Provence.<\/p><p class=\"font_8\">Il partagea \u00e9galement sa carri\u00e8re entre le th\u00e9\u00e2tre et le cin\u00e9ma. Il devint le ma\u00eetre du \u00ab th\u00e9\u00e2tre film\u00e9 \u00bb, gr\u00e2ce en particulier \u00e0 sa c\u00e9l\u00e8bre trilogie marseillaise Marius, Fanny\u00a0et\u00a0C\u00e9sar.<\/p><p class=\"font_8\">Il donna au cin\u00e9ma de nombreux films, parmi lesquels Merlusse, Cigalon, Le Schpountz, La Fille du puisatier, La Belle meuni\u00e8re, ou encore Manon des sources, ainsi que plusieurs films inspir\u00e9s de l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019un autre proven\u00e7al, Jean Giono : Ang\u00e8le, Regain, La Femme du boulanger.
