This year again, the Marcel Pagnol French School Abuja participated in the \" World French High School Week \" which took place from November 30th to December 5th.<\/p>\n

This event is organized by the AEFE in more than 530 schools around the world.<\/p>\n

The theme of the week was education for citizenship, solidarity and equality between girls and boys. It is therefore on these humanitarian values that our students expressed themselves through numerous activities.<\/p>\n

On Monday, November 30, the high school students participated in the Digital Careers Fair, organized by the French Institute. During this forum, the students discovered the different professions in the digital field. They had the opportunity to meet professionals in the fields of photography, 3D printing, animation, DJs (music producers), videography and community managers. The objective of this event was to show that these technological professions are not only for men.<\/p>\n

Onst<\/sup> Tuesday, December 1, Cycle 2 students wore outfits representing the professions they would like to do in the future: many doctors, nurses, pilots, astronauts, dancers, etc.<\/p>\n

 They also created a \"word garden\": the students made small placards that they planted at the foot of the trees. On each of these signs, they wrote a message.<\/p>\n

In the \"garden of words\", thoughts and ideas are like plants: you have to water them to see them grow.  <\/p>\n

On Wednesday, December 02, the \"PETITE LESSIVE\" took place at the kindergarten: virtual presentation of the artistic works of the young pupils from TPS to GS (2 to 5 years old). This is in anticipation of the \" GRANDE LESSIVE \" which will take place after the lifting of the sanitary restrictions which will permit the parents to be able to admire these artistic works in person.<\/p>\n

The SLFM ended on Friday, December 04 with an exhibition of all the work done in the courtyard. On this occasion, the courtyard was embellished with painted and flowered calabashes as well as various plants.<\/p>\n

Finally, a mixed soccer tournament was organized at the elementary school.<\/p>\n
