On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, our Grade 8 students put their textbooks aside and set off on an adventure! As part of an educational project designed to enrich their learning experience, a field trip was organized to the Children’s Park and Zoo in Abuja.

The aim of the day was to connect scientific theory with real-life experience. The concepts studied, from animal classification to their adaptations, truly came to life.

The students were able to :

• Observe directly : to compare the descriptions studied in class with the reality of the animals;

• To understand ecosystems : to discover the interdependence of species and the importance of biodiversity;

• To marvel and learn : to spark their curiosity and interest in nature and biology.

This field trip was a real success, giving students a concrete insight into the natural world.
